Who am I?

Before starting Digital Media, I thought I was a digit immigrant and a digit native.  I feel that I fit into both categories.  However, if I had to chose I would say digital native based off of my age and the media I grew up with as a teenager.

The first form of digital media I used was aim.  I was able to chat with my friends from school without having a cell phone.  The next tool I used, but my parents did not really want me to use, was Facebook.  I was only 14 at the time so I understand why!

When I got my first cell phone, I was in high school but I was not allowed to text.  My minutes were also limited.  My dad chose to go with AT&T and I have had that ever since.

Then there was YoutubeSnapchat, Instagram, and Twitter!  Parents and grandparents who are digital immigrants were frowning upon all of this social media but now some of them use it.
